Ms. Patricia Ann Ford passed away Thursday, March 17, 2016 at St. Joseph Mercy Oakland Hospital in Pontiac, Michigan. Age 65 years. She was born March 2, 1951 in Saginaw, Michigan to Luther James Polk and Catherine Polk.
Patricia Ann Polk-Ford was formerly married to Johnny Ray Ford. She was a very outgoing, fun loving person who liked to have fun. Patricia Ann enjoyed eating, dancing and most of all, spending time with family, especially her mother.
She leaves to cherish her memory one daughter, Trina Ford; two sons, Anthony L. Polk, Sr., and Michael J. Ford, Sr.; grandchildren, Trikina and Anthony of Saginaw, Michigan, Deontrell of Dallas, Texas, Larrisse of Detroit, Michigan, Mysteria of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Anthony II of Indianapolis, Indiana, AnthonyNe of Raleigh, North Carolina, Denver of Detroit, Michigan, Dennis, Ce'Quan and Janija of Pontiac, Michigan, Michael, Jr. and Aniyah of Arizona; eleven great-grandchildren; mother, Catherine Nelson; seven sisters, Mary Polk, Cynthia Polk, Victoria Isom, Sharon (Kenneth Anthony) Nelson, Caroline Nelson (Phillip Cook), Laura Carr, Jacquline Nelson; a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins; one sister-in-law, Deanna Hill-Polk; many other relatives and friends including special friends, Charles W. Jones, Burnette Wilson, Evelyn Stone, Janet Smith and Pamela Davis.
Patricia Ann was preceded in death by her father, Luther James Polk, grandparents, Leroy and Laura White, one sister, Henrietta Polk, two brothers, Richard Johnson and Larry Polk, Sr., step-father, Willie James Nelson, two brothers-in-law, Dean Isom and Steven Jackson, mother and father-in-law, Darlee and Emma Jackson.
The family wishes to express special thanks to everyone who was there for Patricia Ann during her illness.
