Patricia Ann Hampton

Sunrise (Psalm 118:24)
Patricia Ann McMillon Hampton was born on Thursday, November 19, 1953 to Mr. & Mrs. Joel & Earlease Doris Ponder McMillon in Saginaw, MI. Early in life, she accepted the Lord’s gracious Gift of Salvation for all who believe, and received the Baptism of the Holy Ghost. Patricia was a gracious, kind, classy lady who embraced her womanhood and generously shared her God-given gifts with others. She was exceptionally family oriented, and learned to cook at an early age. It gave her great joy to bless her family and friends throughout her life on holidays and other special occasions, with meals seasoned with her love that will never be forgotten. As a young person, Patricia developed a passion for reading, and her love for literature was the foundation for her extensive vocabulary, gift for writing poetry, and her profound ability to teach and preach the Word of God. She willingly committed her life to be used by God to bless others, and would often be found in deep meditative thought and extensive intercessory prayer sessions, seeking God on behalf of others. All of her life Patricia possessed a kind, sweet and benevolent spirit. She was known for extending the generosity of the Lord to those in need.

Patricia was a product of Saginaw Public School District where she participated in various activities. In her junior year of high school (1970) Patricia won the coveted Miss Autumn Leaves Beauty Pageant, bringing much joy and admiration to her family and friends. She graduated from Saginaw High School in 1971 as a Mighty Trojan, and matriculated at Eastern Michigan University.

Noonday (Genesis 2:21-24)
After a period of time, Patricia met and fell in love with the love of her life - Mr. Randal Curtis Hampton of Flint, MI. They were married on December 10, 1993 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Together, they have enjoyed a fruitful life - traveling together, taking family fishing excursions, going on family boat outings just for fun, and spending relaxing evenings together watching old movies. Pat truly enjoyed being a wife and mother. She took special care of her home and loved decorating inside and out. Her immaculate flower beds and beautiful plants were evidence of her “green thumb” and like everything else, she shared this gift with family and friends.

Evening (John 9:4)
Minister Patricia Hampton loved serving the Lord, and she prepared herself to serve others. She was a faithful member of Greater Impact International Ministries under the leadership of Pastor Angela Parkes. During her ministry, she also served at Center of Attraction Ministries under the leadership of Pastors James and Leona Glenn. Additionally, Minister Hampton served at the St. Paul MBC under the leadership of Pastor Vincent D. McMillon. Minister Hampton’s ministry crossed man-made boundaries with boundless love and a warrior spirit. She won the hearts of many across denominational, racial, generational and socio-economic lines. Minister Hampton was founder and president of Royal Diadem Ministry, past president of Aglow International Ministry of Saginaw, and previously worked for Total Christian Television (TCT) as a Prayer Partner Coordinator. She worked with juveniles and ex-offenders, sharing her love for Christ and encouraging them to open their hearts to Him. Minister Hampton also volunteered her time at the Saginaw City Rescue Mission (2000-2002), and was a certified Chaplain through the International Fellowship of Chaplains. She attended Destiny School of Ministry in Pontiac, MI and received a Bachelor in Theology Degree in 2021. Minister Patricia Hampton was truly a willing worker for the Lord who could rightly divide the Word of Truth; and was often called on to preach and to teach the Word of God throughout the country.

Patricia Ann Hampton leaves behind a loving and lasting legacy. Her memory will be especially cherished by those who loved and knew her best: her husband, Randal C. Hampton; four sons, Tariq Maured (Tammy) Smith, Douglassville, GA., Jamal Quadree Smith and Kyle Allen Hampton, Saginaw, Anthony Jourdan Hampton, Flint, and daughter, Nichole Hampton, Flint; mother, Earlease McMillon; other special daughters, Tenniele H. Caffey and Karlee L. Parent; sister, Dinah Lynn (Lloyd) Coleman and brother, Rev. Dr. Vincent (Dr. Gwendolyn) McMillon, both of Saginaw; and grandchildren: Heaven Smith, Tyriq Smith, Michael Smith, all of Saginaw, and many other special grandchildren of Flint Mi. Patricia also leaves to cherish her memory her father in-law, Mr. Richard Lee Hampton, Flint; brothers-in-law: Anthony Hampton. Port Huron, and Larry Hampton, Flint; sisters-in-law: Dr. Dyan Hampton and Paula (Jerry) Latimore of Detroit, and Dr. Alfreda Hampton of Chicago, Ill.

Rest (2 Timothy 4:7-8)
Patricia was preceded in death by her father Mr. Joel McMillon (2017), mother-in-law Mrs. Lovie Hampton (2016), brothers-in-law Calvin Hampton (2009) and Lawrence Hampton (2006), and special nephew Cordney Allen Stephens (1991).

In life, Minister Patricia Ann McMillon Hampton kept the faith. On Thursday, July 1, 2021 in Saginaw, MI, surrounded by family, she finished her course and put on immortality – escaping the boundaries of this earthly domain to receive her crown of everlasting life in the Lord.
