Ms. Patricia Ann Gary was born October 5, 1954 in Flint, Michigan, the daughter of Sammie Lee Gary and Esther Ruth Sanders. She was called home by God on Friday, October 9, 2020 at the age of 66 years.
Patricia was a nurturer, so it was no surprise to her family that she pursued a career in nursing. She was employed as a nurse at St. Mary’s Hospital for many years before retiring. She was loved and adored by her patients and co-workers.
When she wasn’t caring for others, Patricia enjoyed the company of her family and friends. She especially loved her nieces and nephews and treated them as children of her own. Her sweet spirit, beautiful smile and caring presence will be truly be missed.
Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, Sammie Lee Gary and Esther Ruth Sanders; stepmother, Marion Gary; grandparents, Marshall Sr. and Aruther Mae Sanders; aunts, Emma Lois McKether, Fannie Agurs, Ruby L. Gary; uncles, Charles, Marshall Jr., Roger Sanders, Willie Lee Gary.
She leaves precious memories with her significant other, James A. Johnson; sisters, Diane, Sandra and Sheila Gary; brother, Michael (Brenda) Gary; special niece, LaNiya Martin; special nephew, Mekhi Gary; aunts, JoAnn Bryant, Catherine Jackson; many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends, including best friend Maria Rodriguez and close friend Margaret Johnson.
