Patsy M. Russell (Lansing)

Patsy “Pat” Marie Russell, age 69, of Lansing, Michigan formerly from Reese, Michigan passed away on Wednesday, November 3rd, 2021, at Sparrow Hospital in Lansing, Michigan, peacefully with her family by her side. Patsy was born on April 12, 1952, in Bay City, Michigan to Max and June (Brodrick) Wescoat. She was married to the father of her children, Richard Russell, Sr., on March 29, 1969, who survives her.

Pat had many talents, including sewing, crocheting, and knitting beautiful blankets, often giving them as gifts to her family, as well as her love and talent for cooking. She will be remembered for her selfless love for her family and friends, and notably always putting others first. She often did without, to the benefit of others. She had a true heart of gold and will be greatly missed.

Pat is survived by her children, Richard “Rick” (Jennifer) Russell, Birch Run, Michigan, Tonya Lofback, Bellevue, Tennessee, and Todd (Jill) Russell, Frankenmuth, Michigan; grandchildren, Tyler (Ashton) Lofback, Dakota (Taylor) Yokom, Kailee Russell, Brienna Russell, and Lily Russell. She is also survived by siblings, Sherry (Richard) Duke, Terry (Linda) Gorney, Max Wescoat, and several nieces and nephews; including three very special nieces, Brandy Berryhill, Janell Barker, and Andrea Johnson; cousin and friend, Hope Jones, as well as her feisty cat and housemate, Mr. Bebe.

Pat was preceded in death by her mother, June Wescoat, father, Max Wescoat, sister, Judy Masseau - Stevens, and infant grandson, Brendon Lofback.

Following Pat's wishes, cremation has taken place with Paradise Funeral Chapel, and a Celebration of Life memorial is being planned at a later date for family and friends.
