Patti Vogel of Holt Michigan passed away September 24th, 2015 at the age of 52 years after battling cancer for over 3 years. Patti was born in Bay City Michigan, lived in Lansing Michigan during her early school years and then graduated from high school from Eaton Rapids High School. Patti was a graduate from Michigan State University with a bachelor degree in English Literature. Patti is survived by her husband, Todd Vogel; daughter, Natalie Vogel; son, Nick Vogel all of Holt, Michigan; her parents, Bernie and Pat Hartley of Eaton Rapids, Michigan, her sister, Mary Hancock of Eaton Rapids, Michigan and her brother, Bernie Hartley of Dewitt, Michigan.
Patti was well known as one of the sweetest, kindest people and always had a smile on her face. Throughout her battle with cancer she was able to keep a positive attitude in the most difficult and serious situations. She had a great faith in her Lord Jesus to take care of her and her family and to let His will be done. Her spirit, courage and strength were an inspiration to many.
Patti deeply loved her children and devoted herself to raising them to love and respect others, homeschooling them from the beginning to the present. Patti loved the Lord and made sure her children were raised with the knowledge of Jesus as their Lord and Savior and they adored her. She was a natural mother, rushing to the aid of any child in need without hesitation. Patti regularly attended Cedar Street Church in Holt, Michigan with her family and was baptized last year.
A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held Monday, September 28, 2015 at 11:00 am with a luncheon following at Cedar Street Church 1705 Cedar Street, Holt, Michigan 48842. All are welcome.
