Pedro Alberto Gonzalez

Mr. Pedro Gonzalez passed away at his residence on Monday, August 12, 2024, in Saginaw, Michigan. Age 65 years. He was born March 11, 1959, in Las Villa Santis Spiritu, Cuba, to David and Juana Gonzalez.

Pedro was born in Cuba but was a longtime resident of Saginaw, Michigan. He was the youngest of 12 children. Pedro was raised by his grandmother. He came to the United States in 1980, beginning his journey in the states in Miami, Florida, then moving to Grand Rapids, Michigan, and eventually to Saginaw. Pedro enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, sitting outside during nice weather, and helping his friend out at his store. Pedro also enjoyed traveling to Carson City and Crystal Lake, Michigan.

He leaves to cherish his memory two daughters, Mariza Gonzalez of San Antonio, Texas, and Maricela Gonzalez, Saginaw, Michigan; grandchildren, Anthony and Gabrielle Jones, San Antonio, Texas, Darnell Davis III and Danielle Davis, Saginaw, Michigan, and Tamia and Jamari Houston, San Antonio, Texas; one brother, Macario Gonzalez; one niece, Yordandaine Gonzalez; two nephews, Yudel Gonzalez and Steven Oliver; Pedro leaves many other relatives and friends including special friends, his former wife, Gloria Kapp, and Tomas Echeverria.

Pedro was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, and a brother, Maximo Gonzalez.
