Ralph Taylor (Lansing)

Ralph V. Taylor (Chambliss) was born October 7, 1958 in Gates, Tennessee to Henry Wells and Warlean Taylor. He departed this Earthly life Tuesday, February 12, 2019 in Youngsville, NC at the age of 60 years.

Ralph moved to Lansing, Michigan at an early age. He graduated from J. W. Sexton High School in 1977. After graduating from high school, he attended Lansing Community College. Ralph retired from General Motors in 2006 after 30 plus years of devoted service. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, detailing cars and lawncare.

Ralph loved watching sports games such as Michigan State, Detroit Lions, Pistons and Tigers.
He especially loved spending time with his grandchildren, as they were his pride and joy. They affectionately called him “PaPa”.

He leaves to cherish his memories; daughter, Latosha (Thomas Demps II) Chambliss; sons, Victor Shonndell (Brandi Swift) Chambliss and Darrius Guy; his beloved grandchildren, Aliya Chambliss, Trey’On Demps, Ta’Naya Demps, Shonndell Chambliss, and Jolie Chambliss; father, Andrew (Lucille)Chambliss, Jr.; Sister, Brenda Chambliss; brothers, Michael Chambliss and Andrew R. (Heather) Chambliss; former wife, Annette Chambliss; a special friend, Jeanette Joseph; and a host of relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Warlean Taylor Chambliss.
