Raymond Lee Gloss

Mr. Raymond Lee Gloss was born October 8, 1958 in Saginaw, Michigan, the son of Samuel and Earline Gloss. He passed away Friday, February 15, 2019 at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. Age 60 years old.

Raymond was a proud graduate of Saginaw High School and was an employee at Nexteer Automotive. He enjoyed taking cruises through the city and spent much of his free time with family and close friends. He was known for his whistle that could be heard throughout the neighborhood, which alerted all the kids that it was time to go home for the night. He was also known for the feeding the neighborhood squirrels. A die-hard Michigan State fan, his enthusiasm for the green and white and his love of life will be missed dearly but never forgotten.

Raymond was preceded in death by his brother, Curtis Gloss.

He leaves to cherish his memory his loving companion of thirty years, Regina Neal; four children, Raymond Neal, Dominic Riley, Regmond (Sharmee) Gloss, Sharrise Riley; parents, Samuel and Earline Gloss; siblings; Catherine Gloss, Geraldine Sheard, Ruby (Jeff), Gwendolyn, Robert, Samuel Jr., Derrick, Michael Gloss; a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

The family would like to express a special thanks to the kind staff of Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Ascension St. Mary’s of Saginaw, Tee & Ebony Pullam, Ivan E. Phillips and the Staff of Paradise Funeral Chapel and all the friends and family who have reached out to us with their condolences.
