Mr. R.B. Brown was born August 8, 1941 in Frenchman Bayou, Arkansas to David and Rosie Brown. He passed away Friday, December 28, 2018 at Buffalo General Hospital in Buffalo, New York. Age 77 years.
R.B., lovingly called “Lil Man” amongst family, was the fourth child of sixteen born to David and Rosie. Even though he was born into a big family, Lil Man was able to find his own identity and become his own person.
R.B. journeyed north in his youth and eventually landed in Buffalo, New York. He worked for Ford Motor Company over thirty years before retiring. Never just wanting to be an employee, he started his own businesses while working for Ford. He owned a laundromat and a snow plowing business.
R.B. lived a good life. He loved, he traveled and he lived his life on his own terms. He was easy to love, hard to break and impossible to forget.
When God called Lil Man home on Friday, December 28, 2018, he was greeted at heaven’s gates by his parents, David and Rosie Brown; brothers, David Jr., Robert, James, John and Tommy Brown; and his beautiful and oldest sister, Ella Mae Dorsey.
He leaves precious memories with his two daughters, Linda Baker, Monica Eastman; two grandchildren, Wynter, Kanieya Baker; great-grandchildren, Sariah, Jermain Sims, Arsenio Pea, Skylar Conway; sisters, Annie Echols, Pearlie (JC) Nathan, Betty (Enis) Wakefield, Rubie Zucowski, Linnie (Tommy) Lutton, Ann (Lorenzo) Browne, Regina Brown-Lindsay; brother, Nathaniel (Verna) Brown; a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
