Regina was born on June 27, 1955 in Lower Peach Tree, Alabama, the youngest daughter of Nathaniel and Frankie Lee McCaskey. Regina departed this life on Wednesday May 9, 2012 at the age of 56 after a brief illness.
She moved to Saginaw shortly after graduating from Pine Hill High School in 1973. She was employed with the Vlassic Pickle Factory for over 20 years. Mrs. Anderson was a member of Mt. Sinai Missionary Baptist Church during her time in Saginaw.
Regina leaves to cherish her memory her two sons, Jelani McCaskey and Leonard Anderson III; two sisters, Lula Belvin, Grace (Willie) Townsend; two brothers, Kossie (Irene) McCaskey, Sandy (Georgia) McCaskey; one granddaughter, JDeasighea Aleta Butler, goddaughter, Domonika Grant; godson, Jeremy Hatchett; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends.
Regina was preceded in death by her parents, Nathaniel and Frankie Lee McCaskey; two brothers, Nathaniel McCaskey Jr. and Willie Clarence Brackett.
