Mrs. Regina Gail Day G.G. passed away Tuesday, September 20, 2011 at her residence at the age of 51 years. Regina G. Fentress was born June 9, 1960 in Saginaw, Michigan to Pressie and Annie Fentress. She was the youngest of two sisters and one brother.
On May 1, 1982 she was united in marriage on 21st street with Jerome Day Sr. by Reverend Roosevelt Austin Sr. To this union the blessing of Jerome Jr., Reginald, and TiShea were formed. They moved to Southfield, MI and attended United Temple C.O.G.I.C., under the leadership of the late Pastor Dave Evans Jr. Regina worked in different capacities which enriched the lives of all people, including; the negotiation of a suicide attempt. She was a proud graduate of Saginaw High School and attended Delta College. She received various honors and awards for her services in a counseling capacity. Regina was known for being able to talk to people, listen, give advice and help wherever she was needed. Regina was known for being the family directory and could tell you whos who at the drop of a dime. Thus acquiring the name of AKA g g.com.
She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Jerome Day Sr; three children, Jerome Jr., Reginald (Jennifer), and TiShea; two grandchildren, Nevaeh and Nathanael; father, Pressie Fentress; siblings Al Holiday, Debra Williams, Cheryl (Ricky) Nash; a host of brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, as well as other relatives and friends,
including special friends and family, Tina Mason, Earl Ford & Family and Angela Simpson & Family.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Annie Fentress, Courtney Nash (nephew), brother-in-law, Charles Williams and uncles.
