Regina Dianne Smith passed away Thursday, August 8, 2013 at her residence. Age 57 years old. She was born January 18, 1956 in Chicago, Illinois the second oldest of ten children to Dotris and Esther Bernease Smith.
Regina was a devout catholic. She attended Holy Family Grammar School and was a graduate of St. Marys Cathedral High School. She was a wonderful mother of 8 children. Regina was a devoted homemaker to her family and was an outstanding cook. She loved music and enjoyed dancing. Regina was very sociable and well-liked by many people. Her presence will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
She leaves to cherish her memory four daughters, Dezeri and Aqua Smith, Jasmine and Talisa Evans; four sons, Valaquis Smith, Brandon and Valente Evans, Reginald Spiller; one stepchild, Porche Spiller; grandchildren, Brenasia Smith, Valaquis Smith II, DeVonta Davis, India, Ivery, Anthony and Imarie Richardson, Skylah and Anthony Evans; father, Dotris Smith; seven sisters, Dotrissa A. Smith, Linda C. Smith, Sandra B. Newman, Donna V. Howard, Valerie A. Smith, Esther L. Marsh, Arlette Gorins; three brothers, Dotris Smith Jr., Dwayne E. Smith, Anthony S. Smith; her companion of twenty years, Sonny Spiller; many other relatives and friends.
Regina was preceded in death by her mother, Esther B. Smith, uncle, Daniel A. Randall Jr., aunt, Eliza Randall, nephew, Terrence Evans Jr.
