Reginald Roosevelt Brown passed away Friday, February 2, 2024. Age 55 years. He was born July 7, 1968, in Berrien Springs, Michigan. The son of Arthur James Brown and Shirley Madeline Brown.
Reginald attended Mandeville High School in Mandeville, Louisiana but completed his high school education at J.W. Sexton High School in Lansing, Michigan. “Mudfoot,” as his family and friends affectionately called him, enjoyed barbeques, family gatherings, and watching football, cartoons, and western movies. He adored children and they adored him, his patience with kids was remarkable. Reggie was adamant with his workout regimen and practiced martial arts daily. He was always a protector and his smile was contagious. He was always comforting to everyone. Due to his love for cooking, his years of employment consisted of him being the head cook of every establishment he worked at. The love he had to all that were dear to him can never be replaced.
Reggie “Mudfoot” leaves to cherish in his loving memory 5 brothers, Arthur (Christine) Brown, Lawrence (Tammy) Brown, Ervin Brown, Mark (Minette) Charrier, and Alfred (Stephanie) Williams; 1 uncle, Joshua Palmer; 5 aunts, Theresa Baptiste, Violette Baptiste, Nora Decre, Rose Kidds, and Angelina Ordone; many nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents Arthur James Brown and Shirley Madeline Anderson; uncles, Amiel Brown, Thomas Palmer, Roger Palmer, Joseph Palmer, Johnson Palmer, and Daniel Palmer; aunts, Norlee Baptiste, and Veronica Ranson; and niece, Robin Williams.
The significant bond he had with his oldest brother, Ray and sister-in-law, Chris, was unbreakable and will continue to exist as the unconditional love shared between them through good times and bad will live on forever.
