Reuben Marshall

Mr. Reuben Anthony Marshall, Sr., passed away, Sunday March 8, 2015 at MagnumCare of Saginaw at the age of 80 years. He was born September 22, 1934 in Leland, Mississippi, to Robert and Viola Chavers Marshall.
Reuben moved to Muncie, Indiana where he married Loretta Young. To this union two sons and one daughter were born; Reuben Anthony, Kevin Lamont and Robin Marshall. He later moved to Saginaw in the early seventies. He was a member of St. Luke Christian Methodist Episcopal Church where he served as the custodian. He was currently employed as custodian for Saginaw County Community Action Committee (CAC). He loved the outdoors, lawn care and working on his truck. He was a wonderful person whose presence will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
He leaves to cherish his memory his companion Corrine Linzey, sons, Reuben Anthony Marshall, II, (Khalid Kubweza) of Anderson, Indiana and Kevin Lamont Marshall of Nashville, Tennessee; brother, Edward Marshall of Saginaw, Michigan; grandchildren, James Kevin Chatman of Anderson, Indiana, Juma Kubweza of Richmond, Virginia, and Dameesha Fletcher of Anderson, Indiana; six great-grandchildren, Logan Chatman, Isiah Chatman of Minneapolis, Minnesota, Serenity Chatman, Lynnea Chatman of Covington, Kentucky, Illeaun and Isaiah Kubweza, Richmond Virginia, nephews, Edward Marshall, Jr., Terry Marshall, Christopher Marshall, Leonard Adams, Eric Marshall, Kenneth Marshall, nieces, Doris Marshall, Sheena Marshall, Katina Marshall Thomas, Kay Cole, Teresa Dunlap, Margretta Marshall and Susan Marshal; godchildren, Thomas Linzey, William Linzey, John Linzey, Pat Jefferson, Edna Linzey and Doris English; and his dog, Velvet.
Reuben was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Viola Marshall, daughter, Robin Marshall, grandson, Damian Marshall, brothers, Louis and Howard Marshall; nephew, Melvin Marshall.
