Rex Schmunsler (Lansing-Haslett)

Rex Terry Schmunsler of Bath, Michigan, passed away Tuesday, November 21, 2023. Age 74 years. He left us all too soon after his long and courageous battle with cancer.

Rex was an avid hunter and fisherman, a devoted Michigan State University fan, and all around fix it guy. He always had a long “honey-do list."

Rex leaves behind his soulmate of 50 years, Judy Schmunsler; daughter, Beth (Mike) Bath and son, Casey (Missy Humble) Schmunsler; grandchildren, Alisa (David) Boynton, Cameron Bath, and Brayden Schmunsler; sister, Betty Rosenbrook; many nieces, nephews, and cousins; mother-in-law, Carol Albrecht; and many friends.

Rex is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Retha Woodruff-Schmunsler; siblings, Billy Schmunsler, Charlene Hoard, and Larry Schmunsler; and father-in-law, Frank Albrecht.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate his well lived and enjoyed life on Sunday, Nov. 26th at The Bath American Legion from 1-3 P.M. MSU and casual attire preferred.
