Mr. Rhen Wright was born October 7, 1985, in Saginaw, Michigan, the son of Ulysses Wright and Phyllis Taylor. He passed away on July 7, 2023, at the age of 37 years old.
Rhen was a resident of Bay City, MI. He was a graduate of Saginaw Heritage High School Class of 2003, where he ran track, played football, basketball and gymnastics.
After graduation, Rhen's love for cooking led him to attend Grand Rapids Community College where he obtained certification in Culinary Art. He held numerous chef jobs in the restaurant industry.
Rhen leaves to cherish his memory one son Sean Ryan Wright of Canton, MI; father Ulysses (Warnella) Wright of Saginaw, MI; two brothers, Ulysses (Barbara) Wright, Jr. of Carrollton, TX, and Christopher Taylor of Southaven, MS; six sisters, Shirley Wright and Vivian Wright of Edwards, MS; Crystal Robinson of Battle Creek, MI; Toni Wright of Flint, MI; April (Lorenzo) Smith of Grand Rapids, MI; Kalena Taylor of Cordova, MS; grandparents, Jimmie and Alice Blakney of Saginaw, MI; two aunts, Tina Taylor and Anner Taylor of Saginaw, MI; and the mother of his child, Christina Murillo of Canton, MI. Rhen also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends including special friends Harvand Caldwell, Quintin O'Neal, Karen O'Neal, Eric Bender, Leroy Macon, and Quincy Macon.
Rhen was preceded in death by his mother Phyllis Taylor.
