Rhonda Mack (Lansing)

Rhonda Michelle Mack passed away in her sleep at home on February 3, 2024. Rhonda was born on May 25, 1963 to Ernest Shannon and Kathleen Mack in Lansing Michigan.

Rhonda graduated from Walter French high school and later took college classes at Davenport. Rhonda loved sitting down at the park with the love of her life, and dancing. She enjoyed talking smack with her children but most of all she enjoyed her grandchildren and man did they give her a run for her money. She enjoyed the company of house pet, Ace, even though she would never admit that she loved him.

Rhonda leaves behind to cherish her memories life partner Kenny “Wayne” Lilly; her children, Sharonda (Robert) Cooper, Keondra (Javon) Lilly, Deveone Lilly, and Kenyarah Lilly; grandchildren, DeAzjha Portee, Deshawn Portee, MyHonesty Portee, Poet Portee, Sincere Portee, Miracle Walker, Mariella Lilly, Sarah Cooper, JourNeigh Walker, and Messiah Walker; great grandchildren, Londyn and Legend Portee; brothers Ernest Shannon Jr, Tyrone Mack, and Kelvin (Violet) Flowers all of Lansing, Michigan; sisters, Joyce Mack of Paris, Tennessee, Jamie Beasley and Loretta (Troy) Aubrey of Grand Rapids, Michigan, Jeanetta (Tyrone) Brown of Lansing, Michigan, and Anita (Antonio) Jordan of Alabama; special sister in love, Sheri Pruitt of Lansing, Michigan; best friend Tracee Husband and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Rhonda was proceeded in death by her daughter, Nyshaia; father, Ernest; mother, Kathleen; stepmother, Brenda; and her little brothers Shain, Micheal, and Robert.

We, her children, would like to thank everyone for their condolences but we know this is not a goodbye, but a see you later. And just remember “A TIGHT HUG IS A LOVE HUG.” We love you Rhonda Mack!!!
