Richard Lee

September 28, 1942 — January 30, 2021

Mr. Ricard Lee, Jr. was born September 28, 1942 in Osceola, Arkansas, the son of Loudis and Mary Canada. God called his name on Saturday, January 30, 2021 at the age of 78 years.

Richard grew up with a strong work ethic and that carried him throughout his life. He was an employee of General Motors Grey Iron Foundry and retired after over thirty years of service. While employed with GM, he was a Committee Man from 1999 until his retirement. Richard was also a long time member of the Masonic Temple Lodge # and a members only social club.

Richard was a simple man and a family man. He was also a man of faith, attending The Dwelling Place and most recently New Faith Temple Church under the leadership of Pastor Charles Coleman. In his spare time he enjoyed dominoes, spades, watching sports and CNN.

More than anything, he enjoyed the company of his family and making memories with his children and grandchildren. His strong presence and warm heart will truly be missed.
Richard was preceded in death by his parents, Loudis and Mary Canada; sisters, Ethel Fayson, Lula Pearl Canada; special friend mother of his children, Mattie Givhan.

He leaves precious memories with his children, Gennita Lee, Richard Lee III, Christopher Givhan Lee; stepchildren, Lee, Cornelius, Veronica Givhan, Sha’Kera, Jayla, Jaylean, Bre’ana; grandchildren, Demar Watson, Tamara Forte, Tahnee Givhan, Brioni Whittington, Carmella Lowe, Ebony Hogan, Tymia Givhan, Johnny Lowe, Aaliyah Givhan, Richard Givhan, TreVon Lawson, Christopher Givhan, Jayon Lawson, Lania Burns, Sahmera Givhan, Kendall; sisters, Rosie (Sampson) Pittman, Mae K.
