Richard Eugene Maas

Our beloved Richard “Dick” Maas peacefully left us on the evening of Monday, October 14, 2024. Loved and survived by his wife Sandra Maas, his daughter and son-in-law Nicole and Mathew Smith, and their children David, Zoie, and Atreyu. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Ardis, Carol, Helen, Doris, Ruth, Mary, Don, Dave, Darwin, Barb, and Jane, his children Kim, Dale, Kevin, and Shelly.

Dick loved his wife, surviving daughter, and his grandchildren very much. Amid his hobby for woodworking and raising his family, he severed as an usher at Mount Hope Church for over 20 years, served in the local Dimondale emergency services (Fire and Emergency Response), participated in the Dimondale Lions Club, and served four years in the United States Navy (1955-1959).

Funeral/memorial services will be held at Christ the King Reformed Church at 421 State Street Charlotte, MI 48813 on October 26, 2024, at 11am.
