Rickey Renell Frye was born January 27, 1957 in Alexander, Arkansas to Elizabeth Frye and Ben Williams. He made his transition into the next life on March 26, 2021.

Rickey was an avid musician and he loved listening to music. He could play several instruments with great excellence with his favorite being the tenor saxophone. Rickey was employed with Steering Gear and several other companies throughout his life. He was the oldest of nine other siblings and was always a very compassionate big brother.

He leaves to cherish his memory one son, Rickey (Brittany) Frye; loving mother, Elizabeth Pierson; three grandchildren, Wednesdai Frye, Christian and Troy Smith; three brothers, Larry Williams, Eldrin Williams, Milton Pierson III; four sisters, Teresa Davis, Annette Williams, Regina Williams, Cheryl Pierson; aunt, Lillie Wilson; uncle, Bob Frye; many nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, and cousins.

He was predeceased in death by brothers, Chester and Tyrone Williams; nieces, Adrian and Andrea Pierson; nephew, Alfonzo Lee; cousins, Dorthea Cade, Kathrun Lane, Lisa Rucker Seals and many other relatives.

The family of Mr. Frye would like to extend a very sincere thanks to Covenant Hospice, Dr. Khan, Samaritas, Pastor Willie Hill, Jr., Ivan E. Phillips and the Staff of Paradise Funeral Chapel.


Cremation has taken place. Due to COVID-19 precautions and restrictions, a memorial service will be held a later date.
