Robert Lee Foote

Robert Lee Foote, son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and uncle, departed this life to be with the Lord on December 28, 2020. Robert was born to Troy Lee and Beulah Mae (Guyton) Foote, November 9, 1950 in Saginaw, Michigan.

Robert was married to Linda J. (Robbins) Foote for over 22 years and two children were born to this union, Robert E. Foote and Tori L. Foote-Parker. Robert E. Foote predeceased his father at age 21.

Robert, known as “Bobbie”, was baptized at Mt. Olive Baptist Church. He was a member of the Youth Usher Board. He was a graduate of Western Michigan University where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in English and Bachelor of Science in Communications, Arts-Sciences. He pursued his graduate studies at Saginaw Valley State University.

His accomplishments and achievements include: Lions Club Citizenship Award (Navy), Chief Engineer-Small Craft (Navy), Sales Achievers Club, Outstanding Sales Associate, Former Richman Brothers, Dean's List at Western Michigan University, Eagle Scout with Boy Scouts of America, Member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., Job Developer, Employment Trainer, and Secondary Education Teacher with Saginaw Public Schools.

Bobbie,is survived by one daughter, Tori L. Foote-Parker; granddaughter, Ti’Airus B. Foote; grandson, Jabez E. Parker; great-grandson, Adrian J. Flores; son, Ahmar Sanders; aunts, Stella Brooks, Delores Tyson-Strickland, and Mary Graham; first cousins, Joe Lee Foote, Yvonne McMullen, Harvey Foote; many other relatives and friends, including Robert close friends, John F. “008” (Julia) Bond, Dr. John E. “Doc” Norwood, Luther Harold, Marty “Doc” Goodson, Creston “Tuck” Tucker, Jimmie D. Westbrook, and Judge M.T. Thompson.

Bobbie was predeceased by one son, Robert E. Foote; parents, Troy L. and Beulah M. Foote; brother; Roy E. F; cousin, Clarice Foote; close friends, Robert “Big Bob: Harmon, William “Jitterbug” Dugan, Al Holiday, and Melvin O’Daniels.
