Robert Miller

Mr. Robert Miller Jr. of Saginaw, Michigan passed away Wednesday, July 27, 2011 at Covenant Healthcare-Cooper. Age 73 years. He was born May 7, 1938 in Winston County, Mississippi to John Miller and Mammie Lee Baker.
He graduated from Louisville Colored High School in 1958. He attended Mississippi Industrial College in Holly Springs, MS. Mr. Miller accepted Christ at an early age at Mt. Pleasant #1 Baptist Church in Louisville, MS. He was a member of Rose Hill Missionary Baptist Church for many years under the leadership of the late Pastor Levi Patton, where he sang in its Male Chorus and Mass Choir. He drove the church van and helped clean the church. He enjoyed motorcycle riding, fishing and gardening. He retired from Clark Gas Station.
Robert leaves to cherish his memory two children, Bobbi Brique' Singleton of Beaverton, OR, Robert Liddell III of Mariette, GA; two grandchildren, Le'Keith Elliott Scott of Beaverton, OK, Robert Liddell IV of Saginaw, MI; four sisters, Hattie (John) Cotton, Juanita Holmes both of Saginaw, MI, Elgia (James) Curtis of Louisville, MS., Gloria (Pastor Johnnie) Butler of Shreveport, LA; two brothers, Pastor Johnie Sr. (Sylvia) Edwards of Saginaw, MI, Albert (Gwendolyn) Edwards of Noxapater, MS; three aunts, Francis Doss, Myrtle Thomas both of Louisville, MS, Eria Triplett of Milwaukee, WI; three uncles, Cicero (Mildred) Miller, Marvin (Bernice) Lynch both of Chicago, IL., Ezra Baker of Louisville, MS; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, including a special friend, Mozella Reed.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Ella Virginia Edwards, two brothers, Henry Miller, Larry Edwards; one sister, Ruth Swift.
