Robert Maurice Nicholas passed away Monday, July 23, 2012 at Cartwright Residence. Age 79 years. He was born December 21, 1932 in Mobile, Alabama to Leroy M. Nicholas and Beatrice DeGrushe.
Robert was employed at Quantico Air Force base in Quantico, Virginia and Andrews Air Force base in Washington, D.C. After relocating to Saginaw, Michigan, he founded and operated Consolidation Roofing. He retired in 1986 after 50 years of service to the community. Being a huge fan, he would watch wrestling as much as his schedule would allow. Robert also enjoyed working on cars. His favorite pastime was spending time with friends and family.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 30 years, Priscilla Ann Nicholas; three children, Jennifer Maria Nicholas, Robert Nicholas Jr., both of Saginaw, Michigan, David Nicholas, Mobile, Alabama; two sisters, Jen Rodgers, Eunice (Hayward) Prine, both of Mobile, Alabama; one sister-in-law, Minnie Buchanan, Streetsboro, Ohio; one brother-in-law, Willie Buchanan, Saginaw, Michigan; one special niece, Mona Kiss, Mobile, Alabama, many other relatives and friends including special friends, Janice and McGee.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Beatrice DeGrushe and Leroy Nicholas; one brother, Raymond Nicholas.
