Ms. Roberta J. Adams passed away Tuesday, September 15, 2020 at McLaren Hospital in Lansing, Michigan. Age 63 years. She was born May 8, 1957 in Jackson Michigan, the daughter of Dillard Johnson, Sr. and Minnie B. Walker.
Roberta resided in Lansing Michigan. She was a member at International Harvest Church and Lively Faith Church, she also attended Faith Temple Church and Norah Ark Church. She was a graduate of Jackson High School, University of California as well as several trade schools. Roberta was one of the first young, black women to work at City Hall in Jackson, Michigan, of this she was extremely proud. She loved to sing, direct church choirs, and baking for her grandchildren were immeasurable. Cooking large meals for her family was her joy. Her children and grandchildren were number one in Roberta’s life.
Roberta leaves to cherish her memory: 3 children, Antwan Williams Sr., Antonio Williams Sr. and Antonette Bradley; 8 grandchildren, Mariah Williams, Kaylei Williams, Zariah Williams, Antonio Williams Jr., A’Layshia Bradley, Antwan Williams Jr., Aliana Bradley and Ah’Nyla Bradley; 2 sister, Geneva Hodges and Rozetta Harper; brother, Gregory Johnson; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins other relatives and friends.
Roberta was preceded in death by her parents, Dillard Johnson Sr. and Minnie B. Walker; son, Clerance Anthony Bradley; granddaughter, Ah’Lani Jai Marie Bradley; twin sisters, Martha Ann Walker and Mary Ann Walker; brothers, Dillard Johnson Jr. and Jessie Johnson.
