Mr. Rodney Clayton, Son, Father, Brother, and loyal Friend passed away on Monday, October 25, 2021 in Saginaw, Michigan. Age 64 years. He was born June 16, 1957 in Saginaw, Michigan to Robert Clayton and Dorothy Perkins.
Rodney was a resident of Saginaw, Michigan, and attended Saginaw Public Schools, graduating in 1975. He loved his family and friends, and he enjoyed cooking. Rodney was many things to many people. He had a special love for dogs. He was “the dog whisperer!” Rodney’s employment included Saginaw Public Schools, and General Motors Corporation.
He leaves to cherish loving memories, three daughters, Ashanti (Monte) Wilson, Ronnequa Clayton, and Sharonn Clayton; eight sons, Kenny Longuemire, Rodney Clayton, Jr., Deronne Clayton, Johnson, Demarcus, Tony, Leandrew and Devarious Laster; sisters, Carolyn Clayton, Tammy Price and Rita Clayton; brothers, Craig (Priscilla) Clayton, Christopher Clayton, and Bobby Martin; 25 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren; aunts, Dolly Campbell and Fayetta McCall; many cousins, nieces, nephews other relatives and friends including a very special friend, Patti Jo Laster.

Rodney was predeceased by his grandmother, Ella Mae Greer, father, Robert Clayton, sister, Deborah Clayton, brother, Rick Clayton, grandsons, George Knight IV, and Johnson Laster, Jr., uncle, James McCall, nephews, Brandon and Curtis Clayton.
