Roman Benton

Roman Augustus Benton departed this earth on Monday, October 6, 2014. He was born February 2, 1989 in Grand Rapids, Michigan to Ruth Ann Duncan and Robin Jerome Benton.
Roman resided in Lansing, Michigan and was very active in his daughters lives. He loved online gaming. As a teen he attended Holy Temple Church of God in Christ under the leadership of Pastor Larry N. and Julian Trice. He worked as a general laborer and was an avid car lover. Roman enjoyed a spectrum of music ranging from Gospel to hard rock. Roman loved his daughters and spent as much time in their lives as possible. He was a man of many talents. Roman touched the lives of many friends. He loved and enjoyed his family and friends. Roman will be remembered as the shy kid who grew into fatherhood.
He leaves to cherish his memory two daughters, Nevaeh Benton and Symone Benton; father, Robin Benton; step-father, Rolando Presas; grandparents, Jerome (Mary) Benton II and Nellie Blue; three sisters, Robyn Benton, Alyssa Presas and Sydney Presas; five brothers, Brook Benton, Rolando Presas Jr., Paul Castillo, Isaiah Benton and Collin Benton; three nieces, Aubriella Benton, DeLilah Benton and Justice Presas; nephews, Gabriel Presas and Christopher Myran; several aunts, uncles, other relatives and close friends.
Roman was preceded in death by his mother, Ruth Ann Duncan and one brother, Jerome Benton III.
