Mr. Ronald Andre Hood passed away Saturday, July 27, 2019 in Lansing, Michigan. Age 64 years. He was born in Reed City, Michigan, the son of Elmer R. Hood, Jr. and LaVerta F. Waters-Hood.

Ronald was raised in Lansing, Michigan. He attended schools in the Lansing School District. Ronald graduated from Ottawa Hills High School in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He attended Central Michigan University where he graduated with his BA degree. Ronald earned several certificates including dental plate makers and culinary arts. He briefly worked at Peckham in Lansing. Some of his favorite things to do were running, biking, reading and computers.

He leaves to cherish his memory of his daughter, Veronica Hood; father, Elmer R. Hood, Jr.; 2 sisters, Debra D. Garrett and Karen F. Hood; 2 brothers, Elmer R. Hood III (Renee) and Marion S. Hood (Toni); 8 nieces, LaTisha Hood, Tonya Ferguson, Alex Hood, Chelsea Hood , Shaneka Hill, Sakeenah Garrett, Dannie Hood and Asia Wright; 6 nephews, Julian R. Hood Jr., DiaBate Hood, Darius Hood, Häns Beene, Dorian Hood and Mark Wright Jr.; 5 aunts, MaHaley Fogg, Judy Tett, Mary Hood, Sheila Hood and Monica Waters; 5 uncles, Louis Hood, Julius Hood, Madison Waters, Byron Waters and Donald Fogg; 21 cousins, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, LaVerta F. Waters-Hood; brother, Julian R. Hood Sr.; other relatives, Elbert Waters, Osie L. Waters, Elmer Hood Sr., Mae Hood, Charles Baxter, Ruth Inghram, Franklin Waters, Ruth Waters, Robert Dozier and Hertisene Dozier.
