Ronald L. Beverly, Sr. "Kitty Baby"

Mr. Ronald L. Beverly, Sr. “Kitty Baby” passed away on Thursday, September 9, 2021 at Covenant HealthCare Harrison. Age 72 years. He was born March 3, 1949 in Saginaw, Michigan to William and Ethel Beverly.

Ronald attended Saginaw Public Schools and was a graduate of Arthur Hill Technical High School. He was employed at General Motors Chevrolet Grey Iron Foundry and was a member of UAW Local 668. Kitty Baby was also a bartender at 3rd World and Archie's Lounge. He also enjoyed dressing in his finest, dancing, playing cards, shining shoes, and he was a pretty good basketball player.

He leaves to cherish his memory his loving children, Jamie (Florence) Thompson, Tangela Hunt (George Lay), Katrina Brooks, Ronald (Adriana) Beverly, Jr., Rhonda Stone (Aaron Galvin), Christopher (Naomi) Jones, Ladonna Jones (Charles Slaughter), Sherron (Tony) Lee, Idris Everett, Tameki (Deon) Reed, Aviyon Beverly, many stepchildren; 33 grandchildren; a host of great-grandchildren; sisters, Brenda (Phil) Evans, Davida General; aunt Molly; brothers, William Beverly, Jr., Robert Chism, David General and James General; many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends including special niece, Deartra; special nephews, Andre Beverly, and Robert "Tinker" Lang; best friends, James Hanes, Earl Jones, and special friend, Pearl Wesby-Adams.

Mr. Beverly was preceded in death by his parents, William and Ethel Beverly, grandparents, Essie Mae (Ruffis) Moore, Sr., brothers, Melvin Moore and Hot Rod, sons, Ronald JuQuay Brewer, Atwan Brewer, daughter, MaShondra Mannie, nephews, William (Boogie) Beverly, and Demetrius (Jamal) Beverly.
