Our beloved Ronnie McClain departed this life on Sunday, July 15, 2012 at Cartwright Care Center. Age 60 years. He was born April 8, 1952 in Saginaw, Michigan to Mack and Marie (Cook) McClain.
He was a 1970 graduate of Saginaw High School and a former employee of Saginaw County Mental Health. Ronnie enjoyed being with family and friends. Whenever he was around, you could always count on him to be the life of the party, filling it with his special humor. Ronnie knew and trusted our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
His memory will be cherished by his son, Ronnie McClain Jr.; one step-son, Gary Johnson; their mother, Ida McClain; two sisters, Claudette (Cleo) Bray, Linda (Robert) Veasley; one brother, Gary (Elsa) McClain; nieces and nephews, Shonda and DeBronson Bray, Brentoya (Terrell) Breamsy, Byron Holiday, Brandi (Quincy) Hayes, Gary, Mack and April McClain, Estrella Carreras; many other relatives and friends including his lifelong friends, Thomas Darby Sr., James Choyce and Al Holiday.
Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents, Mack and Marie McClain; one brother, Duane McClain.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff of the Visiting Nurses Association Hospice, the Cartwright Care Center, Paradise Funeral Chapel, Deborah Williams and his compassionate friend, Beverly Everett.
