Mr. Roosevelt Shorter III passed away Wednesday, May 5, 2010. Age 54 years. Roosevelt was born August 12, 1955 in Memphis, Tennessee to Roosevelt Jr. and Mary Alice Shorter.
Roosevelt leaves to cherish his memory two daughters and two sons, Ebony Shorter, Roosevelt Shorter IV, Octavia Rosas, Elijah Shorter; four grandchildren, Ania Carter, Myani Shorter, Zion Shorter, Kimora Harvey; one sister, Gloria Dixon; ten brothers, Larry D., Lansing, MI, Barry D., Saginaw, MI, Robert (Rose), Midland, MI, Walter (Paulette), Grand Rapids, MI, Michael (Anne), Bay City, MI, Johnnie, Bobbie, Godfrey, Christopher, Eric (Michelle), all of Saginaw, MI; a special aunt & uncle, Charlie and Sadie Shorter; many other relatives and friends.
Roosevelt was preceded in death by his parents, Roosevelt Jr. and Mary Alice Shorter, one brother, Allison Shorter.
