Rose L. Fineis (Lansing)

Ms. Rose Fineis passed away Thursday, February 9, 2023, at her residence in Lansing, Michigan. Age 58 years. She was born on May 13, 1964, in Cincinnati, Ohio, the daughter of Catherine and Eudell Rose.

Rose grew up and attended John 3:16 Baptist Church in Cincinnati, Ohio. She moved to Lansing, Michigan where she lived most of her life. The two loves of Rose’s life were God and her family. She loved to vacation with her sister, Ruth, loved the color yellow and yellow roses, loved to sing and write poetry, and loved her two dogs, Brittney and Hope. Rosie’s heart was huge, she would help anyone.

Rose leaves to cherish her memory her lifelong companion, Gary; children, Cameron (Jamie), Margery, and Jacob (Annie); 5 grandchildren; 2 sisters, Norma and Ruth; brother, Martin; many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Catherine Buffington; father, Eudell Rose; and sister, Catherine Irene Foster.

The family wishes to express special thanks to Compassus Hospice for the care they gave to Rose.
