Rose Mary Johnson

Our beloved mother, grandmother and sister, after a short-term illness, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 16, 2020 at Ascension St. Mary’s Hospital at the age of 77 years. Rose Mary Johnson was born on June 1, 1943 Charlie and Mary McClain.

Rose attended Saginaw Public Schools. She was a faithful member of Faith Charity Pentecostal Full Gospel Church. She enjoyed spending time with family and eating tacos, which was her favorite meal.

Rose was preceded in death by her husband, Leroy Johnson; parents, Charlie and Mary McClain; sister, Helen Watson; nephew, Wilford Lynn; niece, Lamonica Sykes.

Her memory will be forever cherished by her children, Larnell and Dennis Lee Johnson, Rochelle (Anil) Johnson -Kumar, Sharelle Johnson, all of Saginaw Michigan; five grandchildren, Lakeva Price, Katorry Rena Johnson, Nichelle Johnson, Deon Mitchell, Shamil Walker; seven great-grandchildren including special great-grandson, Stedmon Johnson; two great-great-grandchildren, one in honor of her name, SaBella Rosemary Johnson; brother, Charles (Kesha) McClain; sister, Mussette McClain; special brother-in-law, Eugene Johnson; many nieces and nephews including special nieces, Brandy Jackson and Dashawna Stephens and special nephews, Ryan Johnson and Henry Hill, and special friends, Carolyn Clayton and Evelyn Hardy. Rose was loved by everyone who came in contact with her.
