Rosie Wesby-Williams "Foxy"

Ms. Rosie Lena Wesby-Williams “Foxy” passed away on Thursday, October 5, 2017, in Dallas, Texas. Age 60 years. She was born November 22, 1956 in Muncie, Indiana to the late Carl and Rosemary Wesby.

Rosie was a resident of Dallas, Texas where she was a member of New Mount Zion Baptist Church. She enjoyed playing cards, dominoes, and talking to her three children on the phone. Rosie loved her family and her special friends. She will truly be missed by everyone that grew to love her.

She leaves to cherish loving memories two daughters and one son, Kishi Wesby, Donsha Wesby and Renina Wesby; fifteen grandchildren, Anthony Nickleberry, KeShawna Wesby, Jacqueline Clemmons, Antonyo Bell, Jr., Ciara and Latavia Porter, Iysha Henson, Dasha Wesby, Donsha Wesby, Jr., Ceddrick Wesby, Sincere Wesby, Keyona King, Brandon Goff, Jr., Reggie Townsend, Jr., and Don’Janaya Wesby; five great-grandchildren, Miyah Garcia, Janiya Carter, Anthony Nickleberry, Jr., Quenterrion Carter, Jr., and JaRonnie Carter; six sisters, Earlene Watson, Janice and Vernice Wesby, all of Dallas, Texas, Pearl Wesby-Adams, Saginaw, Michigan, Della Wesby, Muncie, Indiana, and Carlene Wesby-Brown, Saginaw, Michigan; five brothers, Terry Rutledge, Tubule, Mississippi, Otis Kenny Wesby-Woodhouse, Atlanta, Georgia, Johnny (Louise) Strong, Muncie, Indiana, David Wesby, Saginaw, Michigan, Eddie Lee (Jackie) Strong, Muncie, Indiana; many nieces and nephews; special niece, Rozina Murphy; many special nephews including Marcus Wesby, Robert Jamerson and Linos Kas’Mikha; godchildren, Denitra Harper and Samuel “Pooh” Williams; many cousins, other relatives and friends; special friends, Maurey Tyus, Cathie Stephs, Garland Moten and Vernon “Bay Cooda” Jones.

Rosie was preceded in death by her son, Larry Wesby, grandson, Ronnie Clemmons, sister, Gloria Jean Cooper, and brothers, Carl Wesby, Jr., Ed Wesby and Jessie Wesby.
