Roxanne Marie Irene Oakes was born September 26, 1985 in Muskegon, Michigan, the daughter of Roxanne (Parham) and John Wayne Oakes. She departed this life on Thursday, March 28, 2019 in Toledo, Ohio. Age 33 years.
While living in Toledo, Roxanne was a member of St. James Baptist Church. She obtained her medical assistant diploma from Lincoln College in January of 2012, as well as her STNA certification.
Roxanne enjoyed styling hair was a hair stylist to many family members and friends. She was not only a loving mother to her son, Tibias, but also a loving aunt to her nieces and nephews. Whenever an opportunity arose to help, Roxanne was there. She was a backbone of her family and she will be greatly missed her family and friends.
Roxanne was preceded in death by her sister, Breanne Oakes; grandfather, Charlie Parham; aunt, Nadine Parham; uncles, Charles Houck, Wesley Parham; great-aunt, Dorothy Kemp; great-uncles, William, Earnest, Percy Parham.
