Roy Foote

Mr. Roy Edward Foote was born December 31, 1952 in Saginaw, Michigan to Troy and Beulah May Foote. He passed away Friday, September 21, 2018. Age 65 years.

Roy was a student of Saginaw Public Schools and attended Houghton Elementary, Central Junior High, and Buena Vista High School, “Class of 1971.” He was a humble, down to earth guy that loved sports and dogs. Roy made friends that lasted a lifetime. Proverbs 18:24 describes him perfectly, “ A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly: and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother.”

More than sports, more than dogs, more than anything, Roy loved his children. He always spoke very highly of his kids and bragged about how proud he was of them. He was grateful to be their father and elated to be a Grandpa.

Roy was preceded in death by his parents, Troy and Beulah May Foote; nephew, Robert E. Foote; uncles, Harvey, Emmett, Joseph and R.E. Guyton.

He leaves to cherish precious memories three daughters, Tonya Burden, Schlar Erwin, Toi Foote; two sons, Romark Davis, Troy Foote; grandchildren, Andrew, Alex, Aaron Brummell, Jr., Tomarkio "KoKo" Burden; great-grandchildren, Phoenix, Peyton Burton-Smith, Aaron III, Alex Brummell, Jr.; sister, Marva Alice Foote; brother, Robert Foote; aunts, Stella Brooks, Delois Tyson, Mary Graham; uncle, Maze Foote; many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends, including special friends Kevin Jordan, Larry Conway, Bill Badger, Steve Barker, Leo Wade, Henry Hatfield, Johnny Banks, Roshonda Blakes, Willie Turner, Jack Young and Rasul Price.
