Roy Lee Martin, Jr. came into the world on Saturday, December 3, 1960, in Lansing, Michigan, the first child born to Roy, Sr. and Bobbie Martin.  “Junior”, as he would come to be known as the mirror image of his father, Roy Sr.: Charm, Smile, Witt, he inherited it all and would use it all to his advantage, but his Heart, Caring Nature, and Loyalty made it impossible not to love him. 

Junior left us on Friday, May 13, 2022.  His presence will be missed by all whose lives he touched.  Junior attended Harry Hill High where he was a State Ranked Wrestler and a self-affirmed “ladies’ man”.  Roy lived most of his life in Lansing, Michigan, close to his family. 

Roy Jr. leaves behind his wife, Ginger, daughters, Shanika (John) Thomas,  Shalimar Martin, ShaNasia Martin, and Fat-Fat Martin; stepdaughter, Savannah Martin; his mother, Bobbie L. Martin; brothers, Anthony (Perala) Hall and James L. Martin; sisters, Sheilah Taylor-Martin, Patricia Martin, and Antonitia Martin; many grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. 

Junior was preceded in death by his father, Roy, Sr.; daughter, Shamarra; and two grandchildren, Martina and Martini.
