Ruby Lee Coley (Lansing)

Ms. Ruby Lee Coley passed away Friday, August 17, 2018 at Sparrow Hospital in Lansing, Michigan. Age 81 years. She was born March 22, 1937 in Arcola, Mississippi to parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry and Irene Wilson.

Ruby moved to Lansing, Michigan in 1969 where she gained employment with General Motor Corporation, Division of Oldsmobile. She was a General Motors retiree. Ruby was a faithful member of Fearless Faith Church Ministries under the leadership of Pastor Iris Cotton. She loved to dance, listen to the blues and spend time with her family and friends. Ruby has always been a strong women who spoke her mind.

She leaves to cherish her memory her six children, Deborah Coley, Linda Coley (Gary Manns); Larry (Sheila) Coley, Patricia (Floyd) Middleton, Joanne Coley and Autumn Henry; 50 grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; sister, Gloria Wilson; two brothers, Roosevelt (Sherry) Wilson and Robert Wilson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Irene Darden and Henry Wilson; son, Michael Coley; daughter, Brenda Coley; three sisters, Jean Wilson, Mary-Alice Wilson and Mamie Nathan; two brothers, Henry Wilson, Jr. and Joseph Wilson.
