Mrs. Ruth Ann Knuckles Hunter passed away on Tuesday, April 8, 2014 at Spectrum Health Center in Grand Rapids, Michigan. She was born on May 30, 1963 to J.T. and Oreata Knuckles.
Ruth was united in holy matrimony to Mr. Michael Hunter on December 26, 1998. He survives her. They resided in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Mrs. Hunter attended Eastern Michigan University and the University of Phoenix. Ruth was employed at Hope Network Behavorial Clinic. She loved helping others. Ruth will be missed by her many friends and co-workers, and all who knew and loved her.
Mrs. Hunter leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Michael Hunter; mother, Mrs. Oreata Knuckles; brother, Jackie Knuckles; three daughters and one son, Oreata Brookins, LaKayia Hunter, Beverly Hunter and Michael Hunter, II; three step-children, Davon Clark, Marqualla and LaToya Hunter; eight aunts, Margaret Jackson, Christine Melton, Mattie Taylor and Beatrice Jones all of Saginaw, Michigan, Ruth Lowery of Stockton, California, Ceola Fredricks and Clara Shivers of Clinton Township, Michigan, Elizabeth Knuckles of Bay City, Michigan; 4 uncles, John Knuckles, Jr. of Bay city, Michigan, Lee Wesley (Louis) Knuckles, Arthur Knuckles and Alvin Henix, Sr. all of Saginaw, Michigan; She is also survived by her mother-in-law, Beverly Hunter, and sisters-in-law, Michelle Wade and Darlene Hunter. She also leaves a host of other relatives, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, J. T. Knuckles, grandparents, John Sr. and Ruth Knuckles, aunt, Sarah Henix, uncle, Leroy Knuckles, father-in-law, Daniel Hunter, brother-in-law, Lewis Wade and cousins.
