Rutha Mcglory

September 17, 1941 — May 14, 2021

Mrs. Rutha Mae Weathers McGlory was born September 17, 1941 in Yazoo, Mississippi, the daughter of Ira and Marie Weathers. She passed away on May 14, 2021 at the age of 79 years.

Rutha was a member of True Vine Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Paul E. Broaddus. She served on the Nurses Guild for many years. She was employed by General Motors and retired after many years of dedicated service.

When she wasn’t working or serving, Rutha enjoyed cooking, playing cards and hosting gatherings for her family and friends. In a way, she never stopped serving because she was always hosting. Her love for family and faith in God is what kept her throughout the years and she will truly be missed by all who knew her.
