Ryan Schaffer Sims passed away Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at Covenant Healthcare-Cooper. Ryan was the second of three sons born to Clyde and Betty Sims on March 2, 1967.
Ryan is lovingly remembered by several uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. He loved his music and was a computer genius. He graduated from Buena Vista High and studied electronics at Mott Community College in Flint, Michigan. He was a member of South 17th Street Church of Christ under the leadership of Pastor Cedric Townsel.
He is survived by his daughter, Midrena Doster; parents, Clyde and Betty Sims; two brothers, Randy Cole Sr. (Debbie) Sims, Fort Wayne, Indiana, Roger DeWayne Sims, Atlanta, Georgia; Ryan is lovingly remembered by several uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
