Sabrina Nettles

Sabrina Nettles passed away Monday, July 30, 2012 at her residence. Age 11 years. She was born January 12, 2001 in Ann Arbor, Michigan to Deanna Ellis and Eddie Nettles.
Sabrina attended Melvin G. Millet Learning Center, C.F. Brunkow Elementary School and the Home Bound Program through Jessie Rouse Elementary School. She loved the outdoors, listening to music, dressing up, dancing, spending time on the computer and taking pictures. Sabrina displayed her creative nature through her art and drawings. She was a very private person with a big personality. Sabrina was always a happy person with a bright smile. She loved and touched the hearts of everyone she met. Sabrina will be forever in our hearts and she will be missed by all who knew her.
She leaves to cherish her memory her parents, Deanna Ellis and Eddie Nettles; her very special grandmother who prayed for her daily, Mary Ellis; six sisters, Marica Big Sister Nu-Nu, Sataira Terri, Dawnshell Shell and Mary Ellis, Shavonne Steward Bon-Bon, Denise Franklin; four brothers, Donald Wilford Jr. Big Brah, Finis Wilford Brah-Brah, Detrail Nettles, Demarkis Steward; seven nieces; six nephews; five aunts, Earline Sims, Maryann (Jerome) DuRante, Ruthie Ellis, Michelle Ellis, including a very special aunt, Edna Davis; four uncles, Willie (Zeline) Ellis, Greg (Beatrice) Ellis, Charles (Patty) Ellis, Dallas, TX and Preston Ellis; many other relatives and friends including a special sister, Melinda Haskell; favorite niece, Tamiya Ellis; special cousins, Anthony and Shawnette Davis; two special mentors, Donald Wilford Sr. and Curtis Pendleton.
Sabrina was preceded in death by her grandfather, Peter Ellis Jr.; first cousin, Zedrick Sims.
The family would like to express special thanks to University of Michigan Health System, Lewis Temple Church Of God In Christ, Harvest New Life Church, Dallas, TX, Ivan E. Phillips and the staff of Paradise Funeral Chapel and all the special doctors and nurses who touched her heart.
