Samuel O'Neal passed way on March 15, 2010 at the age of 70. He was born in Mileville, Mississippi to Arthur and Polly Drayton O'Neal.
Samuel leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife and companion of 39 years, Albeirter O'Neal. He also leaves four daughters and two sons, Sandra L. Carter, Samantha O'Neal, Sabrina O'Neal, Susan McGraw, Samuel O'Neal Jr., Jerry (Duane) Sims Sr.; two sisters Annette O'Neal, Chicago, IL, Dr. Jeanette O. Poindexter, Detroit, MI; one brother Willie H. (Minnie Mae) Smith, St. Louis, MO; one sister-in-law, Helen O'Neal, MS; eleven grandchildren, one special grandson, Reginald West, twelve great-grandchildren and two special great-grandchildren, Myesha West and William Johnson; six nieces, Kimsey O. Cooper, Carol O. Beach, Bobbie Presley (Rev. E. Presley), Carolyn Crowder, Brenda Crowder, four nephews, Atty. Silas O'Neal Jr., Atty. Byron O'Neal, Michael Harvey, Roland Poindexter. Special friends, Grant (Mary) Crocket, Big Jim Starr and Woodrow. Many other relatives and friends too numerous to name. The family would like to express a special thanks to Dr. Connie J. Braun, Covenant Cooper and the 6th floor nurses at Covenant Harrison.
Mr. O'Neal was preceded in death by his parents, twin brother, Silas O'Neal, brother Leroy Crowder, sister Hattie Mae O'Neal-Ford and uncle Silas Drayton.
