Sandra Gordon Ramzey Holiday was born March 26, 1965 in Saginaw, Michigan to John E. Ramzey and Dorothy G. Moore. She passed away on Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at the age of 56

Sandra always instilled in her children the importance of education. She always said, “It don’t matter where you come from, you can succeed.” Sandra always participated in community affairs: Miss Mershon Beauty Pageant, First Ward Black Beauty Pageant and Red Cross Candy Striper. She worked at Marriott Hotel for twenty years and she loved to travel.

She leaves to cherish her memory a loving husband, Tony Holiday, Charlotte, North Carolina; children, Steven (Crystal) Wilson, Saginaw, Michigan, Jordon Phillip, Lansing, Michigan, Jared Phillip, Charlotte, North Carolina, Sondra Ramzey, Baltimore, Maryland; three grandchildren; siblings, Joanne (Ronnie) Ezell, Betty Haywood, Renail Gordon, James Gordon, Larry (Ada) Gordon, David Gordon, Carl Gordon; godchildren, Victoria and Dominick Garrett; many special nieces and nephews, other loved ones and friends.

Ramzey and Dorothy Gordon Moore; two brothers, Charles and Kim Gordon; two sisters, Rosemary Ramzey, Roberta Gordon Harrison; nephew, Dennis Parker; niece, Princess A. Scott; great-nephew, Johnson Laster; brother-in-law, Rev. Jimmie Harrison.
