Sandy Rozier

September 29, 1936 — January 24, 2020

Mr. Sandy Matthew Rozier was born September 29, 1936 in Columbus, Georgia, the son of Charlie and Julia Davis Rozier. He went home to be with the Lord on Friday, January 24, 2020 at the blessed age of 83 years.

Sandy moved to Saginaw, Michigan in 1953 at the age of 17 years. He became employed with the General Motors Corporation Saginaw Malleable Iron and was active with UAW Local 455. He married the woman of his dreams, Shirlene, on May 16, 1963 and the two shared 56 years together.

In his spare time, Sandy loved being with friends at Jays Lounge, The Cadillac Club, Old Timers and Red Coach. He loved playing dominoes, doing yard work and spending hours on his car. You could always find him at a corner store, holding up the line playing his lottery. He was a laid back person who loved to spend time with his family and friends. He treated everybody with kindness and never met a stranger. He will truly be missed.
