Mrs. Sarah Dobson, beloved wife, and mother, passed away on Monday, August 5, 2013, at the age of 67. She was born December 25, 1945 in Aberdeen, Mississippi to the late Cleveland and Alice Jones. She married Wilbert Glenn Dobson Sr. on May 8, 1966. Sarah was a member at Bethesda Baptist Church where she served on the Nurses Guild, Youth Choir Seamstress, President of the Matrons, Missionary Society and Church Financial Secretary. She was a faithful employee of JCPenney for 21 years. Sarah loved to laugh and enjoyed spending time with her family. She never missed a family reunion until she became ill. Sarah enjoyed cooking, sewing, traveling and watching her favorite soap operas. Sarahs presence made everyone around her feel better. She was a woman of dignity, grace and class. Sarah loved and cherished her family. She will be greatly missed by all who loved her and all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Sarahs memory will be cherished by her husband, Wilbert Glenn Dobson, Sr.; her three children, Gregory (Jennifer) Dobson of Defiance, Ohio, Wilbert Glenn (Rhonda) Dobson Jr. of Columbus, Ohio and Tyrone Dobson of Saginaw, Michigan; her mother-in-law, Estella Dobson; her sisters, Minnie Franks, Sadie (Parker) Simpson, Alice (Jimmie) Holliday; her brothers, John B. (Helene) Jones, Lilton (Lizzie) Jones; her sister-in-laws, Joyce Jones, Imogene Dobson, Mabeline (John) Barrentine; her brother-in-law, Curley Howard Jr., Darnell (Mona) Dobson, Aaron Dobson Jr., Ervin (Stella) Dobson; 10 grandchildren, including a special grandson Gregory DeRelle Dobson; 3 great-grandchildren; 3 godchildren, Renee, Eric, and Jimmie Jayvion; one aunt, Inez Stevenson, Prairie, Mississippi; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends including a special niece, Peggie Hall.Sarah was predeceased by her sisters, Ida Lou Gordon, Fannie Buchanan, Dasie Howard and Alberta Wilson; her brothers, Frank B. Jones, Cleveland Jones Jr. and Henry Jones; brother-in-law, McGoy Gordon; sister-in-law, Virgie Dell Jones; father-in-law, Aaron Dobson. The family wishes to express special thanks to Ivan E.
