Sarah Thomas

Sarah Thomas (affectionately Known as, Ted, Teddy or Mother Ted), Houston, Texas formerly of Saginaw, Michigan passed away on Monday, November 29, 2010. Age 87 years. Sarah was born November 24, 1923 in Rodesa, LA to Willie and Ida (Crocker) Black.
Her memory will be cherished by her son, Earl L. Thomas, Sr. of Houston, TX, step-son, Lee Arthur (Jo Ann) Thomas, Sr. of Saginaw, MI; twenty grandchildren; twenty-eight great grandchildren; six great great grandchildren; many other relatives and friends including one special nephew, Jewaline Smith of Tuscola, TX, two special nieces Charlene Coleman and Aline Howard both of Bivins, TX, all of whom will miss her dearly.
The family would like to thank Ms. Renee Crosby for all her help and support that she gave to Sarah in her final days.
Sarah was preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Ida Black; son, Willie Allen; eight siblings, Mira Black, Artice (Artie) Black, Rena Black-Coleman, Clemo Black, Lossie Black, Leona Black-Phillips, Francis Black-Houston, Barry Black.
