Mr. Savon Shaquille Hicks went home to be with the Lord on Friday, December 11, 2020. Age 26 years. He was born April 6, 1994, in Lansing, Michigan, to Dorresa Hicks and Wyken Ethridge.
Savon was an artist; ran cross country and loved playing basketball. He was real and loyal and kept nothing but positive vibes. The bond he had with his family could not be broken. Savon had a heart of gold and a smile that would light up a room.
Savon leaves to cherish his memory his parents; two daughters, Heaven and Nevaeh Vandervos; grand-parents, Carrie Hicks and Marry Evans; four sisters, Quanisheia Hicks, Tapreesha, Deja Ethridge, and Brittany Carter; three brothers, Lebron Blackman, Joseph Ethridge, and Javonte Guyton; four aunts, Nattrell Bowers, Deedre Williams, Tarshua Evans, and Constance ( Anquay) Caldwell; six uncles, Isaac (Teresa) Bowers, Carl (Rhonda) Bowers, Jeff (Alidia) Bowers, Christopher Evans, Richard (Andres) Evans, and Corey Evans; many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends including special friends, Robert Scott, Ivri Bowers, Michael Risper, and Darnell Risper.
Savon was preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert and Minnie Bowers, Jeffrey and Dorothy Hicks, Willie Ethridge, and great grandfather, Robert Hicks.
