Scherece Joy Roberts-Crenshaw (Lansing)

Ms. Scherece Joy Roberts-Crenshaw, beloved eldest daughter of Psalmist William & Minister Veronica Crenshaw, was born July 15, 1992 at Sparrow Hospital, in Lansing, Michigan.

Scherece attended Lansing and Holt, Michigan Public Schools before continuing her education at Winans Academy and Detroit International Academy in Detroit, Michigan.

Scherece was introduced to Christ at an early age and attended Tabernacle of David Church and Mount Olive Full Gospel Baptist Church in Lansing, Michigan. Upon relocating to Detroit, Michigan, she joined Perfecting Church under the leadership of Bishop Marvin L. Winans. She faithfully attended the Children’s Church Ministry until she graduated into the Perfecting Youth Chorale.

Scherece was gainfully employed with Magna Seating-Shelby Foam Systems in Shelby Township, Michigan. She was a hardworking and dedicated employee. She recently was in the process of launching her new on-line hair ordering business, “Joy Styles”.

Scherece was a beautiful spirit that touched the lives of everyone she met. Her infectious smile would light up any room. She was an outstanding mother to her daughter, London Bradford whom she loved more than anything.

Scherece enjoyed singing, cooking, and spending time with her daughter, siblings, and her niece. She was a devoted and loving daughter to her parents. Family meant EVERYTHING to her!

Crenshaw, Sr., and First Lady Allie B. Crenshaw; nephew, William Crenshaw, IV; niece, Zuri Crenshaw; special uncles, Reverend Normando (Sarah) Dale, James Dale; special friend and wonderful father of her child, Marcus Bradford; special cousins, Duana Benn, Joshlynn Lewis, Danielle Brown, LaPorsha Crenshaw, Tychresia Mitts, Brielle Goodman, Talisha Washington, along with many other aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives and friends.

Scherece was preceded in death by Callie Ann Dale, Keith Roberts, and Jacqueline Dale.
