Scott Lynn Johnston, Sr. passed away Sunday, October 7, 2012 at MagnumCare of Saginaw Center. Age 41 years. He was born July 1, 1971 in Watervliet, Michigan to Floyd and Louise Johnston.
He was a graduate of Arthur Hill High School, and a member of St. Paul Baptist Church, where he recently re-dedicated his life to Christ on July 1, 2012. His hobbies included sports of all types with his favorite team being Michigan State University. He was an assistant coach for the Bad News Bears, a local baseball team in Saginaw.
He leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Louise Johnston, Saginaw, Michigan; two sons, Scott Johnston Jr. and Kaden Sepeda, Saginaw, Michigan; four daughters, Brionna Clark, Houston, Texas, Tatum Sage, Takari and Tylee Johnston, Bay City, Michigan, and Krystian Johnston, Saginaw, Michigan; nine brothers, Floyd Johnston Jr. and Brandon Smart both of Texas, Kendal Hollins, Howard Carter, Nathaniel Carter, Tony Reed and Cortez Moore all of Michigan, Jimmy Carter, Indiana and Rodney Thomas, Nevada; three sisters, Keeva Johnston, Indiana, Kayla Johnston, Georgia and LaVern Carter-White, Michigan; special father, Dr. T.C. Wallace Jr., Michigan; grandparents, Eldridge White Sr. (Everjean) and Ernest (Florida) Lloyd; Significant other, Valerie Strawn, Michigan; fifteen uncles, George White, Kevin (Angelia) White, Texas, Timothy (Gloria) White, Ronnie Johnson Illinois, Michael (Gabby) White, Daniel White both of Alabama, Christopher (Betty) White, Kentucky, Richard, Jason, Stephen, Jeremiah White, Ernest Lloyd Jr., David (Jennifer) Lloyd and Stacey (Danielle) Lloyd all of Michigan and Robert Johnson, Pensylvania; seventeen aunts, Barbara Carey, Marilyn White, Sharene Veal, Teaura White, Cleora White, Dawn White, Paula White, Mary (Wade) Lloyd, Ann Hall, Rose Johnson, Mary Kelly, Joyce Lloyd, Regina (Ricky) Davis, Lisa Lloyd, and Diane (Maurice) Bowman all of Michigan; Gloria White, Indiana, Cynthia (Jose) Rivera, Illinois; many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends including special friends, Lynette Sage, Michael Jacobs, Shavez Baker, Michael Patterson and Anthony Sullivan.
Scott was preceded in death by his father, Floyd Johnston Sr; grandmother, Annie B. White; his son, Tavon Johnston, uncles, Eldridge Jr. and Robert White.
