On Sunday, May 26, 2019, our heavenly father called home our beloved mother, daughter, granddaughter, sister, niece, cousin and friend to be with Him. Shanell Taondra Haynes was born December 25, 1992 in Saginaw, Michigan to Luanda K. Seevers and Torvell Haynes, Sr. She was 26 years of age.
Shanell accepted Christ at an early age and maintained her membership at New Mount Calvary Baptist Church. She graduated from Saginaw High School, “Class of 2010” and then went on to obtain her Certified Nursing Assistant license.
Shanell’s first love was her children but keeping the bond between her siblings was also a strong priority for her. She was a natural nurturer and well-loved by many. Her beauty on the inside radiated on the outside. She was a beautiful spirit with a kind soul that will be missed and forever treasured.
She leaves to cherish her memory two sons, Jermiah MyKing Haynes Oliver, Jamell Devon Davis, Jr.; parents, Luanda Seevers and Torvell Haynes, Sr.; grandparents, Phoebe Seevers, John Rogers; great-grandparents, Walter and Annie Haynes; two sisters, Jada Askew, Princess Haynes; seven brothers, including twin brother Torvell Haynes, Jr., Trudell Haynes, Ashanta Coy, Tristen Haynes, Tra Potter, Torvell Haynes III, D’Angelo Gilyard; nephews, Caleb (Khoi) Haynes; aunts, Tammy Robbins, Marcie Johnson, Leila Cook, Virginia Dunn, Reather Lloyd, Deborah Toney; uncles, Cory Haynes, Sr., Maurice Haynes, Nikete Triplett, Shakir Sims, Melvin Lloyd, Jodie Cook; many other relatives and friends, including cousins La’Tasha Toney, DeOndre James and Kayla Haynes, best friends, Jamelia Weatherspoon, Tamarion Jones and Trecell Wingard.
Shanell was preceded in death by her son, Devonta Haynes; grandfather, Marvin Seevers Sr.; grandmother, Gloria Haynes.
